7/12    THE RELIGION AND THE SPIRITUALITY

The TRUE GOD doesn't intervene in the business of the human beings, so as not to interfere with their free will.

He only sends to them, from time to time and in some geographic places, a messiah or a prophet who have for mission to bring a teaching and new rules of conduct to follow.

This ends up with a new religion.

Do not confound religions and religious representatives.

The religious prelates are only human beings, submitted also to the temptations of the desires of survival of the body (the instincts), and with an intellect also under the influence of the power of the superstition, of the credulity.

The teachings of origin become thus, with time, deformed by the different understandings of the religious prelates.

If the science has for goal to teach and to improve the knowledge of the material world, the religion has for intention to teach the spirituality.

Religion : "Set of the beliefs or religious observances having for object the man's reports with the Divinity or the Sacred. "

Spirituality : "Nature of the minds by opposition to the materiality. The spirituality applies to the relations that exist between the man, the Nature, the Universe and the Divine intelligence herself. It is therefore universal and concern a western person as well as an oriental person."

Serge Toussaint : "Although any absolute definition of this term doesn't exist, we can consider that the spirituality is the conviction that the Creation is the result of a Cosmic Intelligence that works in the Universe, the Nature and the Man, according to unchangeable and perfect laws, and that the man himself possesses a soul that gives him the power to study these laws and to live in harmony with them for his biggest happiness. In this sense, the spirituality transcends the religiosity, which generally limits itself to believe in God, to venerate such prophet or such messiah, and to follow a creed the most often dogmatic. "

We live in a region of the world dominated by the Catholicism, that is a large part of the Christian world.

Let's try to understand what is the meaning of the "Christian" word , while helping us of the dictionary :

Christian : "Who belongs to one of the religions resulting from the Christ's predication. "

Christ : "The one dedicated by the unction in the language of the Bible. The Messiah Jesus, among the Christians. "

Messiah : "The one of which one waits for the salute and the redemption. The Redeemer sent by God, that the former prophets promised to the Jewish, and that the Christian recognize and adore in Jesus Christ. "

But Jesus Christ, the Messiah, wose philosophy and the teaching are solely  in the New Testament, came on earth to free us of what ? to bring us the salvation and the relief but of which pain ?

Did you already ask this question to yourselves ?

In the past centuries the humanity experimented some eras, each one conditioned by love.

In the first one, the love of oneself dominated, or selfishness, the neighbor was considered like an enemy.

In the second one, the family's love dominated, the other families were considered like enemies.

In the third one, the love of the clan dominated, the other clans were considered like enemies.

We are currently in the era of the love of the breed, the other breeds being considered like enemies.

Jesus came to bring us a teaching that allows to accomplish a new evolution in which we will see the domination of the Universal Love, that is to say the ability to transcend the material world in order to reach the spiritual world, that is to say the respect of the nature and of the beings that composes it, what will lead to the annihilation of the karma and of the notions of evil and enemy.

In one sentence : the possibility to control and to defeat the instincts, thus to free oneself from the original sin.

We can observe that during the last two thousand years, our humanity has not well succeeded in this way and that nowadays the satanic instincts predominate again extensively in the behavior of a lot of individuals populating this planet.

When Jesus was preaching he was not in front of people having the baccalaureate or equivalent plus five years' higher education but to shepherds or workers with a low level of education, to the summary knowledge, as this country had very few schools at that time.

As a consequence of the low level of intelligence of his audience, it was not possible to him to reveal the reality of the life mysteries. 

They would not have been understood because little intelligence bring a lot of superstition.

Superstition: "Deviation of the religious feeling, which is founded on the fear or the ignorance, by which one is carried to create for himself false obligations, to fear things that don't deserve it, or to place his confidence in individuals or doctrines who don't deserve it. "

He then decided to express himself by using parabolas.        Only the Apostles have been initiates.

Matthew 13 - 10 to 13 :

« Then the disciples came to him and said, “Why do you speak to them in parables ? ” He replied, “You have been given the opportunity to know the secret s of the kingdom of heaven, but they have not. For whoever has will be given more, and will have an abundance. But whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. For this reason I speak to them in parables: Although they see they do not see, and although they hear they do not hear nor do they understand.»

Parable: "Allegory under which a truth is hidden. This allegory suggests by analogy a moral conclusion or a rule of conduct in a given case."

As for the middle of this quote, one can understand it this way :

To the one that possesses the knowledge of the spiritual world as well as the means to use in order to take the soul out of the original sin, and who applies it regularly, his karma will become positive, preventing him in the future of any difficult experiment.

For the others, those who only take care of their physical body, the disillusions will become more and more significant.

The power of the superstition is the biggest strength that exists at the world, and the more the people have a low level of education, the more this will induce the need for superstitious religiosity.

Religiosity: "Effect of the sensitivity on the religious attitude, driving to a hazy personal religion."

The superstition generates obscurantism.

Jean Sendy : « Each problem including more unknown data than known data is "indeterminate" .

There is obscurantism every time that a dogma gives an arbitrary value to one of the unknowns, and thus pretends to solve the problem.»

Obscurantism : "Attitude of opposition to the instruction, to the reason and to the progress."

The first Church that came from Jesus' teachings was the one of Pierre. She gave birth to the Catholic religion.

But nowadays why do we find so many different religions, often conflicting each other and claiming to be the best representative of Jesus' teachings ? ( Anglican, Armenian, Baptists, Catholic, Copt, Evangelical, Fundamentalist, Jacobite, Maronite, Orthodox, Protestant, etc...   One can even add there numerous sects. Observe that, even inside the Catholic church, are existing a lot of different thought currents that that are competing each other in a matted but fierce competition.)

Simply because the very big majority of the individuals populating this planet, religious included, are having a weak level of conscience and also of knowledge, what leaves the door wide open to the superstition.

In other words, because of their understanding different of Jesus' teachings, the religious chiefs believe that only their interpretation is the good one, and therefore that the other interpretations are erroneous and that they must be fought systematically.

( This kind of attitude also exists between the different religions of this planet. )

This phenomenon ends up in wars of religions.

This kind of behavior is contrary to the setting in application of the: "You will like your neighbor as yourself."

It is important to differentiate the Christianity of the Catholicism.

Christianity is the study of Jesus' teachings,  that are contained only in the New  Testament, revealed by the Apostles, and that have to be followed in the everyday life.

The true Christianity teaches the learning of the humility, the goodness and the honesty.

He extols the non violence as well as the love and the respect of the life of human beings, of the animals and the plants.

Jesus' major teachings can be summarized in a sentence :

Do not  kill, do not steal, do not lie, do not envy the others, do not  judge, do not criticize nor mock, do not be overproud, do not be lazy, do not get angry, do not be gluttonous, do not rape, respect the woman of the other, be able to forgive, and in a more general manner : be humble, respect the others and not to make the evil."

We saw previously that the mission of the human soul on this earth was to improve his level of conscience.

The text above (in brackets) indicates the method to follow in order to achieve it.

The true Christian is the one that puts this teaching into practice in his everyday life, and not the one that is content with going to the mass on sunday.

In the past, in his mission of evangelism and education, the Catholicism was confronted to a lot of illiterate, credulous, superstitious individuals. These people only had a rough-and-ready knowledge of the laws governing the material and spiritual worlds.

Facing this kind of individuals who were under the dependance of their instincts of survival, for whom stealing, raping, murdering had been felt like something normal and natural, the religious had to put themselves on the same level of intelligence of the one of these people, in order to evangelize them.

Therefore they imagined their teachings while using the dogmas, ceremonies with pomp, and the lie (positive sense) in order to impress and to convince.

They also used the fear, from where the threat to burn eternally in a place named hell.

Suppose that you are missionaries who must educate some individuals to the cruel behavior of savages, for example.

You won't be able to teach them truths openly because they won't be able to understand them, thus, in a first step, you will need to trick and to use some artifices to change the behavior of these people to more goodness.

That's the way of the world, the equality between all human beings has never existed ; it is an observation.

To the Middle Ages where each small Lord had right of life or death on his subjects, a bondsman was able to survive or to die, depending on whether the mood of the moment of the Lord was good or bad.

To fight against these abuses, the religious of this time have put "spiritual advisors" in place, who lived with the Lords and whose aim was especially to attenuate the brutality and the cruelty of these Lords, to attenuate their desire to spread their territory by the ruse and also by wars that were ruining the economy and also were taking a lot of human lives.

This method showed some efficiency on the uncultivated people of that time, while using the apprehension that permitted a certain censorship of the aggressive instinctive impulses of the individuals.

After the Middle Ages, the European world was dominated by the Nobility and the Clergy.

Condemned to the wealthiness as a consequence of their birth, and not having to work to make a living, the nobility distracted herself as she could, by dueling "for honor", by organizing feasts, huntings and also by organizing some wars with the neighboring countries. And the noble officers of every country used their soldiers as if they were mere pawns.

Remember this peculiar sentence emanated from a French officer :

"Gentlemen the English, fire first.   "What a lack of respect for the life of his own soldiers !

To this time, some dignitaries of the Catholic clergy have had in mind that they were representing God on this earth, and than consequently everything that they would say or would make would be an emanation from the Divine Will and also that they would go automatically to the paradise after their death.

Then, victims of the sin of pride, a lot of these prelates decided to imitate the ostentatious life style of the nobility.

The religious education and the relief of the people's misery became therefore quite a secondary subject in their mind.

Confucius: "The sage begins to make what he wants to teach. Then he teaches. "

The result of these excesses entailed popular revolts. It is this kind of deviation that was mainly the reason of the advent of the Protestantism and also of the French and Russian revolutions.

The revolutionaries tried to institute another order of values where all the elements of the people would be taken into consideration.

Now that the revolutionary periods are behind us, the old demons took over : can one say today that the inequalities of the past disappeared entirely ?

Science has allowed the improvement of the comfort of the material life. But how about the moral and spiritual level of the leaders and of the inhabitants of this planet ?

Today's Catholicism is an authoritarianism that results from the personal interpretation of Jesus' teachings, made by some high dignitaries of the Catholic church, instilling to the masses, instead of Jesus' teachings, many pompous cults, rituals and dogmas resulting from the personal understanding of these high dignitaries. This understanding being greatly influenced by the high degree of superstition and credulity that existed, and is still existing in the head of some prelates.

If you have the opportunity to visit the basilica Saint Pierre of Rome, you will note that it is the temple of the pump and the bad taste, the opposite of the humility recommended by Jesus.

Matthew 6-1 to 8 : « Be careful not to display your righteousness merely to be seen by people. Otherwise you have no reward with your Father in heaven. Thus whenever you do charitable giving, do not blow a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in synagogues and on streets so that people will praise them. I tell you the truth, they have their reward. But when you do your giving, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your gift may be in secret. And your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.Whenever you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, because they love to pray while standing in synagogues and on street corners so that people can see them. Truly I say to you, they have their reward. But whenever you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you. When you pray, do not babble repetitiously like the Gentiles, because they think that by their many words they will be heard. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.»

The Catholic church is considering herself as the only guardian of the truth contained in the Bible and her representatives discourage the survey of this book to the faithful. She pretends that only some of his clergymen have the capacity to fully understand the true message hidden in the Bible.  

For the other persons, she conceived the missal.

Within this Church, the rituals and the dogmas took the ascendant henceforth on Jesus' true teachings.

Her religious dignitaries are henceforth prisoners of this fact and cannot change it because it would be to recognize that they made the wrong choice in the past.

This phenomenon stops the Catholicism evolution and condemn it to decline.

The Catholicism reigned until the beginning of the XXth century while using rather the fear instead of the love, and his representatives did not hesitate to resort to the lie, to the blackmail and even to the murder, in order to keep their power and their influence on the crowds. (To compare with Matthew 23-1 to 39)

But in order to keep this power at all costs, in a world where reigns as absolute master the law of the strongest, did the Catholic church have another choice ?   She chose the way of "Make what I tell you and not what I make."

Condemning this behavior, a new religion created itself, the Catharism.

His priests were strict with themselves and very tolereant with the others.

The priests Cathars had chosen the way of the "I practice Jesus' teachings, then make as I make."

Having seen there a dangerous competition and a denunciation of the dissolute customs of a part of the clergy, the Catholic church decided to launch a crusade against the Cathars.

These were tortured atrociously and were slaughtered : Satan triumphed once more.

(Recall yourselves this sentence remained famous : "Kill them all, God will recognize his followers." )

Nowadays, the Catholic teaching do not know how to adapt his creed to our time.

So more and more individuals note it and, by reaction, decide to abandon the Catholicism. Their intelligence having progressed, they can reason henceforth and can refute the dogmas. This pushes them either toward the atheism, that is to say to the excessive materialism, or toward the sects.

Consequently the churches are more and more empty.

A lot of clergymen fell asleep on their laurels and some of them became gentrified.

As a consequence, they are not any more able to preach the message of love of the Christ Jésus while going in the streets, nor to transform their enigmatic masterly mass in educational, explanatory mass, with involvement of the audience.

This Catholicism is inefficient today in his role of teaching Spirituality and, by reaction, is now suffering the consequences of his own karma.

Excerpt of the book : "Religiosity, gangrene of the Churches" of M. d'Astier de la Vigerie :

"God shows us the dangers that threaten those that obtained the right to sit enthroned in his Church, and on which Satan persevere with a consideration all special, while setting for them three traps : the feeling to be indispensable, ta penchant for the power and the certainty to be irremovable. "

Dostoievsky, in" the Brother Karamazovs" , has imagined the following tale :

Jesus Christ comes down again on Earth in Spain of the XVth century. Immediately the Inquisitor General jails him as dangerous revolutionary. In the evening, he pays a visit to the Messiah in his prison and tells him :

" Your place is not in this world ; because you were mistaken on the humanity and you confided to your Church an impossible task.

The man is less strong than you believe it. You ask him to make his own  salute whereas he doesn't have the means for that.

It is for this reason that, on behalf of you, we took over the world in our hands and that we maintain the Christians on the path of the virtue by cudgeling them.

"The demon tempted you three times and you refused to impose yourself by the power, the miracle or the mystery.

You ask us to imitate you.

But the men are not God's sons and the Roman church took deliberately the party to accept the three temptations of the Demon for the good of your Faith.

"As for us, high Roman clergy, that takes the responsibility of our devout disobedience, you will judge us according to the results."

Dostoievsky concludes while saying that the Christ kissed the Inquisitor General and disappeared without a word !

Reflection of ex-abbot Loisy that was excommunicated :

"The world was waiting for God's Kingdom and he got the Roman Church! "

Where is the benefit of a man of winning the whole world if he comes to lose his soul !
